The breakfast was GOOD hot, the check in was easy. The staff were very amiable and our room was brand-new with a large 4 poster King bed, all the basics, for instance. All of the staff was willing to help.

This is a marvellous hotel. Once you arrive you leave your cash and credit cards in your safe and enter a money free environment. All meals are free. The only drink you pay for is if you want to order a bottle of wine with dinner. The house wine (by the glass) is free. Beers and cocktails are free. Your biggest tasks are deciding whether to go to the beach or the pool and which restaurant to eat at. The grounds are beautiful. We saw an agouti with two pups. Iguanas are omnipresent and act as if they own the place. The staff are friendly and eager to please. The man who looked after our room had a wonderful imagination when it came to towel folding! The hotel arranges lots of activities including dive courses. But if you want to be independent Collectivos will stop at the hotel entrance.
The location of the hotel on Booked.net is wrong!! Presently (08/08/2011) it is shown as being 3km from Tulum. It is, in fact, 36km north of Tulum and 25km south of Playa del Carmen. The food is good at the hotel but it is not great. The internet connection is usable but not very fast.

The views of the ocean were magnificent. the double room was recently refurbished and included convenient amenities like tea and coffee making facilities, a dining area, and a sitting area. - Check-in was easy, and we enjoyed the pool bar. - We had a perfect 10/10 stay for 14 nights with nothing to complain about.

they should have a dinner buffet every night as most all other all inclusive resorts do. This would help greatly in reducing the wait time at all the other restaurants.

The beach is great, unusual hotel area - very wild and still very safe.
Is is pretty loud in the first building (rooms 20xx,21xx,22xx) due to the road behind the hotel.

I recently stayed at a wonderful adults-only resort in Mexico. The resort was never crowded, even at full capacity, and the privilege rooms gave us access to a fantastic restaurant. The beach was the best I've seen in Quintana Roo, with turquoise water and no sargasso. The location was perfect, with a beautiful bay and soft sand for beach volleyball.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

This hotel is not in Tulum or close to it. It's in the middle between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. They've not windsurf available as they tell.

It's a really nice hotel, good food & great selection of branded alcohol! Would reccomend it if you would like to relax and get good value for money. But do book on internet, dont try to go to the hotel with no reservation as they have much higher prices
No complaints really, all good! But coctails are far too sweet so you need to explain to barmans exactly what you want!
